Typical Locksmith Liberty pricing: home or car lockout $75 to $150, rekeying $20 to $35 per cylinder plus the service call, commercial lockout $95 to $195, transponder car key $120 to $250 and smart key or fob $200 to $450 including programming. You get one flat price by phone before dispatch, and it does not change on site.
There is no charge if you cancel during the initial call. Once the technician arrives, they assess the lock and confirm the quoted price before starting; if extra work such as a rekey is recommended, it is priced and approved by you first. We do not add surprise fees for nights or weekends.
24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including Christmas, New Year’s Day and every other holiday. Appointments are welcome for scheduled work such as rekeys and installations, but lockouts and emergencies are dispatched immediately from our shop at 5700 W Olympic Blvd in Mid-Wilshire.

Culver City and Santa Monica typically take 30 to 60 minutes depending on the 10 and the 405. Dispatch gives you a specific window when you call and the technician phones when a few minutes out.
Yes. If your locks share a keyway, such as all Kwikset or all Schlage, we rekey them to one key on the spot; Kwikset SmartKey cylinders can be reset in minutes. If the brands differ, we swap cylinders so they match. This is a common request for homes and small offices, and we cut spare keys while there.
Yes. We cut and program transponder keys, remote head keys and push-to-start smart keys on site for most Honda, Toyota, Nissan, Hyundai, Kia, Ford, GM, Mazda, Lexus, BMW, Audi and VW models, usually in 30 to 60 minutes and 15 to 30 percent below dealer pricing. Bring registration or insurance and a photo ID.
Bring a photo ID with the address, a lease, a utility bill or mail in your name; for vehicles, registration or an insurance card plus ID. If the documents are locked inside, we open the door and verify immediately afterward. If ownership cannot be shown at all, we may ask a police officer to confirm, or ask for a notarized letter from the owner.
We’re open 24/7 to take care of your emergency. We aren’t even close for Christmas or New Years! Appointments are preferred, but if you can book an appointment in advance then we’ll do our best to accommodate the middle-of night hours as well

We know that in some circumstances, such as if you have identifying documents inside the car/house and office or home. We call for a police officer to be present during our service so he can authorize us opening your locks without permission from either party involved; often these officers will require written authorizations from owners before allowing anyone access (i e personnel). If someone cannot provide identification but does have authorization via notarized letter then there’s no problem whatsoever, they’ll just need help getting those things signed!
